Refund policy

This policy applies to aivideo's monthly AI generation subscriptions sold through Paddle. It explains how accounts in normal standing may request a refund, how approved refunds affect credits, and how to stop future renewals. Contact sctm002@gmail.com for assistance.

1. Monthly plans and delivery

Starter costs USD 14 per month for 1,000 credits; Creator costs USD 90 per month for 5,500 credits; Studio costs USD 280 per month for 11,000 credits. The final payable amount and tax details are shown at checkout. Credits are provided after payment is confirmed and may be used only for services within aivideo; they are not transferable currency or a cash deposit.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. The initial billing day follows the subscription date; for example, a subscription on the 12th renews on the 12th of subsequent months. Shorter months are handled according to Paddle's billing calendar. Your account shows the actual next renewal date.

2. Credit expiry, upgrades and downgrades

Unused monthly plan credits expire at the end of their billing period and do not roll over. A successful renewal replaces the previous period's remaining plan credits with the new monthly allowance. Expired credits do not automatically become a cash refund.

An upgrade charges the full price of the new monthly plan immediately. Once payment is confirmed, remaining old-plan credits are cleared, the new allowance is issued and a new monthly cycle begins on the upgrade date. There is no automatic credit for the unused old plan.

A downgrade preserves the current period's credits and takes effect at the next renewal, when the new plan is charged and its allowance is issued. Failed payments do not create a new credit allowance.

3. Stopping automatic renewal

Sign in, open Billing, and choose Turn off renewal under Manage subscription. You may also email support for help; include your account email and request before the next charge is due. Your account displays the cancellation status and period end date.

Cancellation stops the next recurring charge and future credit grants. The current period continues until its end; remaining plan credits are then cleared. Canceling renewal does not automatically refund a payment already made, and a refund does not automatically cancel renewal. If you want both, request both or turn renewal off in your account.

4. Eligibility for a refund request

An account in normal standing may apply for a refund relating to remaining paid credits. We verify the relevant invoice, actual payment, credit usage, remaining balance and unsettled tasks before confirming the refundable amount. Requests should be sent promptly and identify the invoice; sending a request is not automatic approval.

Accounts suspended or permanently banned for violating the service terms or platform rules are not eligible for refunds under this voluntary policy. Promotional or unpaid credits have no cash refund value. These restrictions do not override mandatory consumer rights or refund rights applicable to your Paddle purchase.

For an incorrect or duplicate charge, a payment made without authorization, or a paid service that was not provided, contact support promptly with the payment details so the issue can be investigated. Do not send full card details.

5. How to apply

Email sctm002@gmail.com with your registered email address, Paddle receipt or transaction identifier, the relevant plan and payment date, the requested amount and reason, and whether you also want to stop renewal. Never include your password, one-time code, API key or full payment credentials.

We may request reasonable information to verify account ownership and the invoice. Avoid consuming credits included in the request while it is being reviewed, because usage can affect eligibility and the amount that can be approved. You may also contact Paddle's buyer support at https://www.paddle.net/ about a Paddle payment.

6. Credit deductions after an approved refund

An approved full refund clears all remaining credits in the account. If the invoice was already partly refunded, a full refund request applies to its remaining refundable amount. Credits already revoked or expired cannot be restored through later failed-task refunds.

For a partial refund, the credit deduction equals the refunded invoice's original package allowance multiplied by the approved refund amount divided by that invoice's actual paid amount, rounded to two decimal places and capped at the available credit balance. For example, a USD 90 invoice for 5,500 credits refunded by USD 45 results in a 2,750-credit deduction. If fewer credits remain, the balance is reduced to zero, never below zero.

The remaining credit balance is not itself a promise of a specific refundable cash amount. We confirm the approved amount against the invoice and applicable rights; a refund cannot exceed the invoice's remaining refundable payment.

7. Paddle approval and payment method

Paddle is the merchant of record for Paddle purchases. We submit refunds against the original transaction, and approval and processing are subject to Paddle's procedures. A pending refund is not a completed refund; credits are deducted after approval, and a rejected request does not trigger that deduction.

Approved funds are returned through Paddle to the original payment method where supported. The time they appear depends on Paddle, the payment method and the bank; we do not guarantee an instant refund or a fixed processing time. Retain the receipt and contact support if an approved refund has not arrived. Paddle's applicable buyer terms are available at https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.

8. Task refunds and mandatory rights

A failed or canceled generation may return eligible reserved credits to the account under the task-settlement rules. This is different from refunding a subscription payment. A particular creative result is not guaranteed; report technical failures with the task identifier for investigation.

Nothing in this policy excludes cancellation, withdrawal, refund or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Applicable Paddle buyer terms and mandatory law take precedence where required. This policy is read with our Terms of Service; questions or appeals can be sent to sctm002@gmail.com.
